OEAP Renewal Process-Keep Your Accreditation Active!

In order to maintain AOEE or AOES accredited status, individuals must renew their accreditation each year and stay current with the latest developments in office ergonomics. Here is what you need to know:

  1. ANNUAL ACCREDIDATION RENEWAL FEE
  • Credentials must be renewed each year. If your credentials lapse, additional steps may be required for reinstatement of accreditation.*
  • Annual Renewal: $75 for both AOEE and AOES.A $25 late fee will apply to renewals received after December 31st.
  1. BI-ANNUAL CEU SUBMISSIONS

Training Requirements: Accredited individuals must complete specified hours of refresher training or continuing education every two years to keep their accreditation status.

You may complete your training through alternate venues, such as workshops, online courses, or seminars. If you need hours, the Ergonomics Center (TEC) offers the Advanced Topics in Office Ergonomics Workshop, which fulfills the seven (7) hour requirement for renewing the Office Ergonomics Accreditation Program (OEAP), and TEC will submit your Continuing Education Unit Approval Form on your behalf.

*Accreditation Reinstatement Rules

If fewer than four (4) years have lapsed:

  • Pay all renewal fees for the lapsed years.
  • Compile, submit, and have accepted any CEUs due during the lapsed period.

If four (4) or more years have lapsed:

  • Retake and pass the exam.
  • Successfully complete the homework assignment.
  • Pay a $250 administrative fee for reinstatement.
  • Pay all renewal fees for the lapsed years.
  • Compile, submit, and have accepted any CEUs due during the lapsed period.

Note: Receipt and acceptance of all requirements are mandatory before reinstatement of accreditation.
