Ergonomics Facility Walk-through

Facility Walk-Throughs

Quickly identify general ergonomic risks with and receive practical recommendations.

Service Overview

Our ergonomists conduct a guided tour of your facility to understand work processes, task demands, and operational workflows. During the walk-through, we observe tasks being performed, speak with employees, and identify general ergonomic risks that may contribute to discomfort, inefficiencies, or potential injuries.

This service provides fast, actionable insights without the depth of a formal ergonomic evaluation

What We Do During a Walk-Through

During the visit, our ergonomist will:

  • Review key production or office areas
  • Observe employees performing tasks when possible
  • Conduct brief employee interviews
  • Identify general ergonomic risk factors
  • Capture photos (when allowed) to support findings and recommendations

All observations are compiled into a clear, easy-to-understand report.

Types of Recommendations You May Receive

Recommendations depend on the work being observed and may include guidance on:

  • Workstation layout and design
  • Recommended reach and lifting zones
  • Material handling practices and assistive devices
  • Tool selection and equipment adjustments
  • Chairs, stools, and seating options
  • Office peripherals and workstation accessories

A virtual meeting can be scheduled to review the findings with your team.

What’s Not Included

This service does not include formal ergonomic screening or deep-dive task analysis.

Those services are used to:

  • Confirm and prioritize ergonomic risks
  • Identify root causes
  • Direct targeted risk mitigation strategies

However, we will identify any job roles or tasks that may benefit from deeper analysis.

Ideal For

  • Organizations seeking quick, high-level ergonomic insights
  • Sites with limited time or resources
  • Leadership needing broad visibility into potential risks
  • New clients wanting an initial overview before deeper assessments
